Folks Behind Busy Galveston Restaurant Announce New Bistro

One of the most popular and notable names in Galveston food and beverage is bringing something fresh to the island. Dennis Byrd, owner of favorite Galveston haunt The Spot, announced Friday that he will open a new restaurant, Basin Bistro, at the Evia on Galveston Island residential and shopping development.

“We have a little secret to share,” started the Facebook post written by Byrd as The Spot. “We’ve been quietly working on a new breakfast and lunch concept to bring to Galveston Island.”
